I can’t wait to start this project. I am new to anything more than the basic granny square. So I have a question. When doing your slip stitch and blocks in the middle of your work, why do you go into the chain space and not the stitches?

My crochet was not crocheting and I was sitting here for hours and replaying your video again and again and again.

All 42 squares joined last night you got me addicted up till 5am this morning joining them I did zigzag join my fave in parchment colour . Just border to add and lining to back . Loving it

I'm SO glad I saved this stitch because I'm working on a sampler afghan kit that I only have half of and I have too much yarn to just leave it at what the kits gave me, I'm improvising stripes now, this one and the Rice stitch are DEFINITELY getting included <3

How do you tell what is the front side and the back side of your work? Don't they look the same?

I finally found the video that i needed. I wanted to use a different colour for the centre and a second colour for the border (of 2 rounds). I was trying to work out how to do it without turning the work. You've done it by using slip stitches to the corners. Now im going to start doing my granny squares with the many left over yarns i have. Thank you for the video. 😊

Love this. Can the spiral keep going to make a blanket that is 1 large piece rather than individual small squares? If so, what adjustments would be needed?

I did it I made the 4 color one. Now I’m attempting the black and white. It’s very difficult to work with black yarn.

I would call that a herringbone triple crochet.

I'm so happy I found your video. I have this Liond Brand Mandala yarn and I was looking for a nice stitch to make a sort of woven texture for a big wrap and since I have close to 1800 yards I think it will be a stunning piece!
